I am working on a small affiliate site for children’s products called Tiny Treasures 2010. It is still growing, but I would like to begin attracting attention. Please take a look, and offer any honest suggestions you may have. I am not looking to buy any "quick fixes". Thanks for your time and your suggestions. Here is a link to the site.http://tinytreasures2010.web.officelive.com
You need a hero shot, ie an engaging image on the first fold of your website to engage your visitors. What I see are hand shakes sealing a business deal which is not relevant to your children’s products website.
Your homepage needs a strong headline giving the benefits your website can provide.
You can make your copy more interesting to read by adding bold, italics, bullets. At the moment, it’s showing one big chunk of text.
Also, you need to put in more original articles for visitors to spend a longer time on your website. When they see a lot of banner ads after clicking around, it raises red flag and they will leave immediately. You can get people to write quality articles for you at $5-$10 an article at elance.
You might also consider putting an optin box at the side to collect names and email addresses so that you can continue to communicate with your visitors. You will need to give them an ethical bribe so that they will give you their personal info. There are many free PLR ebooks in the children’s niche where you can give away.
Hope this helps.

I have absolutely no money right now to use for advertising my affiliate marketing website. I just paid a web designer to develop a coupon like site that promotes affiliate products, but I have not made any money on it yet (it’s only a month old) and now I don’t have money for advertising. What do you suggest I use for completely free advertising?

Health products usually give good commissions and your target audience want to resolve a problem.
You can also consider selling ebooks from the Clickbank network. Commissions payout are pretty high, ranging from 50% to 75%

This is a hard question to answer, there are numerous ways and methods. I would start by reading Revenue Magazine, they are the best publication for affiliate marketing, pay close attention to their advertisers as well (for potential programs to promote). You can pick it up in almost every B&N/Borders.
Check it out here: http://www.revenuetoday.com

What are some good methods/techniques for increasing ROI with PPC advertising? How can Yahoo Search Marketing compete with Google Adwords in PPC Advertising, effectively?…? I want to get into affiliate marketing with PPC advertising. Need some tips on getting started. Help!? I have extensive PPC Advertising knowledge. How can I find people looking for help setting up their campaigns? Source http://www.onlinejobsforall.com
PPC advertising is getting more like SEO now because Google, for example, does not place your advert in the top position just because you placed the highest bid, instead it uses something called "Quality Score" to rank adverts. To get a high quality score you need to bid well, make sure your advert text, headline and landing pages are all relevant to the serach query. This is where a site that is well optimised (SEO’d) will work well for PPC too.
In terms of which provider to use, Yahoo is cheaper than Google as there are less people using Yahoo Search marketing. Although you will get quite a good number of advert impressions in Yahoo, Google will always drive more traffic because it is still the most popular search engine (in the UK anyway). Unfortunately, I have had very little traffic from MSN Ad Centre.
The good thing about PPC is that you can get results quickly and they are easy to track and measure.

Can you advise me if I can put a banner ad or other advertisement on my Yahoo 360 page and get paid when someone clicks on it?
I have heard that this is possible. I think it is called affiliate
advertising. I hear some make really good money doing this. I don’t know if it is true.. Is it?
Affiliate marketing. You don’t necessarily get paid per click, because what company is going to pay for clicks? The company/companies behind the product(s) or service(s) being marketed/advertised will pay you per SALE. But you might want to think about making money reliably, long-term, based on REPEAT internet sales. This is the direction the USA is going, anyway, isn’t it? With automobiles, the wealthy were the first to have them, and then the working class followed. It’s no different today! The wealthy are already ordering their stuff online and having a truck come to the house. The rest of us, we still stand in the long lines at the Wal-Marts and K-Marts and go out and haul it home ourselves, if we can manage to even find our vehicle where we left it, in the hot sun and the traffic. But if such a convenience service were available and affordable to YOU, would YOU use this service? More importantly, if you had access to a half a million products via YOUR web page (although it’s not Yahoo 360), that were priced competitively, would you get excited about driving repeat traffic to it, and getting paid per sale?
Would you get excited about someone who "knows the ropes" of such a business, who is already earning $ 4,000.00-PLUS, per month in it, who would have a vested financial interest in getting YOU started making money by next month, and every month after that, driving traffic to your site?
Do you have courage enough to make one phone call and find out further how-to?
And YES, there is good money being made doing this. I meet with about 90 people who like myself are doing exactly this, every Monday evening. My name is Jack Nelson. For further info, give me a call: (717) 801-5535.
