In the enigma marketing method for tycoon cashflow, it suggests that you become an affiliate of amazon and post on sites such as squidoo. But when you go to sign up as an affiliate, it asks for your website. And if it is not possible, what are some other ways that i could make money online as a teenager?

I’m an Amazon affiliate, among others and I think it simply means you need to have your own website or blog. You can setup a Squidoo lens for free or a blog and post about Tycoon Cashflow on it.

Is it too late to get your money back for this course? Why I’m asking is you could have made $23.87 as a Clickbank affiliate for promoting it instead of spending money.

I have been studying this a little but there is so much info on this it can be a little overwhelming.

1-You need to have a website or blog
2-You need to be able to do a tiny bit of HTML code-this means being able to form good clickable links and knowing where to put them. most of the time you will just have to copy the links.
3-You need to be able to drive traffic through social networking, pay per click ads on google and/or yahoo related to the site topic, or word of mouth
4-It is great to be an affiliate if you shop, because you can get money back for the stuff you would usually shop for, and your friends can too
5-You can sell real world products, TVS, computers, clothes that they company will fulfill through CJ.com, commission junction
6-You can sell digital product for other people through ClickBank.com
7-You can sell both through PayDotcom.com
8-it helps to know your niche-dog training, electronics, whatever. There are plenty of opportunities out there, so don’t just sell everything in sight. BE a specialist. Review products. Sell the stuff you would usually use-you are an expert and that is the kind of content that separates the confused buyer from the one ready to open their wallet.
9-For clickbank, there are actually affilliate lessons in there-you might want to set up your links and account and buy one, get your commission, and learn more about it. Ewen Chia, Mike Filsaime, and Brad Callen material is always a good bet-they know what they are talking about in terms of internet marketing.
10-You need to be patient, you might convert one person in 6, or 100. It all depends on how much traffic you are driving.
11-Some programs will give you cash per lead, that is, they take action by signing up for more info. You will see it in Commission junction in the payout area, sort of to the right-it will give percentages and then under it it would say LEAD: $5 of even $50 of $100.
12-I would NOT drive people straight to the affiliates, but set up an email capture on your site offering something free in exchange for their email address, so that you can contact the people who have visited your site on a regular basis through a free newsletter on a relevant topic. 13-The best program for learning this is Affiliate Classroom by Anik Singal but it is not exactly cheap.

15-Then of course there is the Amazon Associates program! They make it easy to get started, though the commission is only 4%.

16-Don’t forget to set this up as a small business to get tax benefits from it. An LLC or Corporation gets up to about 300 deductions compared to our 75 or so as ordinary people. Kepp all receipts for everything you buy, it counts as business set up expenses.

It does take time to set up but the rewards can be excellent. It is all about multiple streams of income, and automated income=you can be earning even when you are on vacation or sick, if your website is set up and happily running and people are visiting and clicking.

How many new products or affiliates websites are added to the WWW in a week or if you know a month is OK too…

It is difficult to tell how many NEW websites are created each day. That is because there is always a number of new domains registered and expired, as well as a number of new hosting accounts purchased/cancelled. The hard part is that you can’t tell if a person uploads his site just because he has a domain registered or if he has bought hosting.

A good site to tell the number of domains registered in the last 24 hrs is domaintools.com
Go to the site map, then to internet statistics, then to domain counts… That’s the best I’ve been able to do so far…

duplication of web content is a serious disaster for websites.
once the search engines have started tagging you with duplication of content, it will avoid crawling your site and thus cause heavy damage to your website in terms of online rankings.
it may then take a lot of time to surface up again on search engine rankings.

I’m curious since from my research on blogging, the way to make money off of a site is through selling ad space, affiliate programs, selling merchandise, donations and so on. However, there are websites out there that do not use any of these methods (ex. wikipedia.com, etsy.com, itsasickness.com). How do they make money?

Others are paid partnerships, sponsorships, charging people to use the site (rarely successful), illegal methods (like spyware). Your best bet usually is building an audience and putting up ads, and experimenting to discover which ad model makes you the most money while annoying your audience the least.

Not sure what you currently have, but if you visit the individual websites of large companies, there’s usually some kind of affiliate program. Try companies like WalMart, Amazon, … If you’re going to try some business offer, remember to research it thoroughly first. Here’s a great list of resources for scam-checking:

Create a website about something that you know a lot about (recipes, how to fix a car, photography, stamp collecting…). Then you can make money by running some ads on the site.
