What would you say is the most effective email marketing software for promoting CPA ads and social network profiles?
Definitely, the Mail Mascot. It even comes with a twitter scraper for harvesting emails and a seperate video course regarding social networks.
The best and simplest by far.

I’m looking for a very flexible Email Marketing Software/Service. Preferably a hosted solution, like GetResponse, or Aweber.
I have tried a lot of them, but none of them seem to fit my needs.
Here’s what i need:
1. Autoresponders (aka Follow-up Emails or Trigger Mails)
2. Ability to send an email immediately after subscription AND after profile update.
3. Ability to use custom fields in message body and subject (for personalization)
4. Ability to filter and segment my list based on custom fields. For example, I want to send a specific autoresponder e-mail to only subscribers who live in Texas. Or only to women over 35.
(Note: it’s ok if these requirements can only be achieved using API)
So far the closest to these needs have been:
1. Mailchimp - but it fails at requirement #2 + it doesn’t allow affiliate marketing
2. EmailBrain (or GraphicMail) - fails at #4
3. StreamSend - fails at #2
Hey,
I don’t use an autoresponder just yet but I use an email marketing service…
This covers #2 and #3 of your needs (ability to…).
I don’t know if this is what you are looking for but you can see at http://bit.ly/email-Marketing and decide…
Leave a reply with your impresion.
Success,
Liviu

I have launched my website and I am doing the PPC with google and yahoo. I am reading a lot about pay per click fraud. I am wondering if I should buy a software to prevent the PPC fraud or opt for another marketing alternative. I have heard email blasts are good but I dont know of any reputable companies.
Hey Shary,
I feel you! Internet marketing is definitely a confusing field with many different strategies, and as humans, of course we want the best and most effective one. But the truth is, there are pros and cons to every method, whether that be PPC, email marketing, SEO, media buys, and much more. Lately, there’s been a lot of buzz about the inevitable transition to mobile (cell phone) marketing too.
I wouldn’t be concerned about Google or Yahoo PPC fraud, because those two top dog search engines really crack down. Most would argue the big G (Google) comes down TOO HARD with their hammer of fate. That’s why you see so many affiliate Adwords accounts being banned for seemingly no reason by Google. It’s all to protect the consumer, or so Google claims.
The thing you’ll want to keep in mind is never become dependent on any one traffic source. It’s tough because you get really good results at one method, say PPC, and learn how to manage it really well…but what if suddenly that traffic source becomes unavailable?
What if your Adwords account is banned. What if Google punishes your SEO site and drops it 5,000 rankings overnight? If your income relied solely on that one traffic source, you’re doomed - you’re instantly cut off of all income.
That’s why you hear all the ranting about Google and their monopoly and iron grip over affiliates. Break free from the Big G! Email marketing, media buys (buying ad space on popular websites), and PPV (pay per view - basically pop-up advertisements) are some domains that Google can’t touch.
That’s why I’m looking to get into email marketing more and more…Aweber and GetResponse are the two most reputable email autoresponder services. All the big names in internet marketing use it. Alternatively, you can try various plugins such as the GWA Autoresponder plugin for Wordpress, but there are issues with these such as being unable to bypass your viewer’s spam filters.
The pain is mastering multiple traffic streams, but it’s a necessary task (I myself am guilty of not doing this very much lol).
To give you an idea of the different traffic sources, and their pros and cons, check out this blog post:

I run a small catering business in Orlando. I have a huge list of email for potential clients, which i purchased from trusted source. I am looking for some cost effective email marketing software to manage my email campaign.
Any suggestions are welcome.
Thanks
Be careful - it sounds like you are getting into spamming, in which case you’ll end up with a lot of irritated people, a rotten reputation and no business. How do other similar businesses in your area operate? Advertising in papers, magazines, flyers with menus and prices delivered to potential customers? Ultimately word-of-mouth recommendations are the best.

Also, called eblast. I want to purchase software that can produce newsletters, templetes, send to mass emails and collect data as well as track incoming and out going emails and information like iContact and Constant Contact which cost $10-$15+ a month. Any suggestions?
Hi,
If I remember correctly, Mail Chimp has a free option (with its limits, of course).
Kind regards,

Are there people who are having success by using email harvesting softwares for email marketing? I want to buy an email spider but they are very expensive. So I want to be sure of their effectiveness before I buy. Also advise me on which email harvesting software is best to buy.
Building an email list with an email spider is not the best solution. Your list we not be "clean" a lot of people will mark your emails as spam. This will cause more problems than results. You need to find intuitive solutions to get peoples email that are interested in the product you have to offer. Give something in exchange for example register for my email marketing tips and tricks newsletter.
Another good way to get users is to create contests and give away something.
You can check out our e-marketing solution http://www.beezilla-marketing.com there’s a few tools to help you build your contact list.

I would like to promote by homebased business by sending marketing emails. I would like to know the effectiveness of these emails by tracking whether the email is read or deleted without being read or whether the user clicked on the link in the email etc.
(I know the Delivery and Read receipt option in MS Outlook. I am looking for something better)
You can sign up for Google Analytics but you need to embed the analytics code into your website. This gives you detailed site metrics for your website include user origin, whether it be organic or referral. It will also give you the source of the referral, so you can tell if that page visit was from clicking through from your email.
As far as effectiveness, its debatable, but your response rate will be very minimal. 3% would be considered good. Unless you have a very large customer base, or a business where you have personal relationships with your customers. Most spam filters will catch your email and if not most people delete that junk anyway without reading.
