I am searching for over 5,000 niche articles that have unique topics so I can write unique articles. Article Marketing is very competitive when it comes to affiliate marketing but I would love to give it a try. Does anyone know where these article topics or have these topics?

DMOZ.org is one of the best places ever for ideas for articles and Niches. Doing a forums search in google is also a good bet.

You could see results after a few days if your articles are exceptionally good. On the other hand, if you are just submitting articles left and right that is just "filler" content for the search engines, you are going to wait a long time before you see any result - most likely it won’t be worth it at all.

You should also understand that article marketing is just one of many methods used to market an online business website - it is not really a business in itself. Yes, I know a lot of people will say that it is, but the fact is you will get much better results if you compound your efforts into your own authority website, instead of just submitting a lot of individual articles.

www.ezinearticles.com accepts and provides online articles.

www.publicityinsider.com has great information on writing, submitting and publishing PR-related articles and press releases.

To get a better click through rate on your articles that link to either amazon associates, Google adsense, affiliate links, etc. You have to have a strong call to action like saying "buy books here from Amazon on ____ topic." or by saying " click the link below to learn how to ______." Searching on EzineArticles for popular articles will give you many, many great examples.

To write a good affiliate article you need the right keywords sprinkled naturally throughout quality, informative text. Ideally, your article should solve a problem or give important info about a particular subject of interest.

You can write articles about things that are indirectly connected to your niche. For example if you are writing articles about shoes, you can write articles about shoe laces, shoe polish, socks etc etc. If you can find a way to write about what you are passionate about and relate it to your niche I would say go for it.
