Is any new technology for this year (2010) to promote a website? I research about it but I didn’t find any good on it…. Please give me some tips

Lots of good back link is good for a website. We can make good back links from good sites.

I want to promote my website punch line. Can anyone tell me that how to do that? My website http://www.planetecomsolutions.com/ and its punch line is co’z the entire Planet is our domain.

It’s a pretty cool punch line man. Make it bigger in your header. Brand your homepage with it by putting it in your title. Include it in your copy. It’s currently so small, probably why nobody knows it.

A slogan makes you memorable, if you have a catchy slogan, brand yourself with it. Make it big and prominent.

This is very important. I dont know if you offer service or products. let say if you sell books. try to get some links from books website or even exchange link. try to find the nich that your website offers. you can goto google again let’s say you sell books and search for books website like forums, directories, classifieds, and etc.

Basic SEO is must. And links to your site from other sites drive additional traffic. It seems simple, but ask visitors to bookmark or share your site or save it in their Favorites list. I use a widget called tell-a-friend to do this — you can try the free widget from SocialTwist , visitors can automatically email their friends about your website whenever they find something they’d like to share.

I printed up a bunch of free business cards on vistaprint.com and basically passed out my biz cards myself, I gave bunch to others I knew and left several almost everywhere I went. Convenient store counters, grocery stores bulletin boards, post office counters, lobby’s of hosipitals, hotels, friends I know in the school district, restaurants, you name it. Even when I’m standing in line sometimes when engaged in a conversation with a stranger I’d give them one of my cards. It’s a lot of leg work and unless you have some really good connections like one of my friends whose a courier and he just hand deliver them to clients they have, it can take some time for the business to start running.
