Has anyone used any online marketing strategies besides pay per click that has helped?

Article marketing works wonders for link popularity and website visits. Write a free reprint article a week and submit them to article directories. ("How to Choose the Perfect Vase for Your Living Room" "How to Redecorate Using Replicas for an Authentic (Asian/Mideastern/African) Room")

As mentioned, article marketing would be a good fit for your business.
You might also try participating in forums your prospective customers frequent, and putting a link to your store in your forum signature. Do not promote the link, just contribute quality discussions in the forum and people will click the link naturally.
You might also write a Squidoo page about your topic. Squidoo pages rank highly for non-competitive keywords. I’m suspecting that there is a wealth of non-competitive keywords available to you in your business (e.g. "replica vase" is one that gets traffic but has little competition). Link to your business from your Squidoo page.
Keyword research will be important for making proper use of Squidoo.

Here are few my suggestions:
1. Start submitting to search engines and directories (when you’ve done this basic step, you would be surprised that the effect is sooner than you expected)
2. Start joining forums (related to your business) where you could freely discuss about your stuff. However, do not promote directly, be able to give forum members something that they need. Speak of benefits.
3. Try to exchange links with complement sites.
4. Try reading more web marketing stuff and freely ask experts in forums for you to get plenty of ideas and avoid marketing pitfalls.
